Book tribute to the type designer Anthony Froshaug.
This project was created during the Design Metodology class at the ISIA,
our teacher Marco Tortoioli Ricci invited us to create a book
about Foshaug as a designer but with some obstructions for the "making
of".
The obstructions where:
1.
using just black and another colors chose from
the CMYK.
2. using just one type between, the most netrual as possible.
3. don't use photos, except Froshaug ones.
The book had to be composed by some famous phrases
of the designer and some words important to understand his personality,
more a short biography and an introduction.
In my work everything is constructed on a special dotted grid I created,
inspired to Froshaug's definition of his father "tabular man".
